About Molly

     Molly Robinson is a passionate reporter at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. She is set to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Telecommunications - News. She is an enthusiastic, driven storyteller with experience in both television and radio. Molly has worked both in front of and behind the camera, learning what it takes to run live programs.

 

     Molly began her career in journalism as a Reporter for WUFT-FM, an NPR affiliated station in Gainesville. Molly now works as a cut-ins anchor and producer, as well as a TV reporter for WUFT-TV. Behind the camera, she doubles as graphics coordinator and audio technician for WUFT's flagship news show. Additionally, Molly also has experience directing and technical directing for the University of Florida's Summer Journalism Institute. She also contributed to a WUFT-TV Veterans Day Special, which won a grand prize in the 2014 AP Professional competition.

 

      Molly also works as a Master Control Operator for WUFT. She creates television promos and IDs, monitors channel activity, and ensures WUFT channels stay on air.

     When Molly is not reporting or producing; she is playing music, exercising, spending time with friends and family, or simply engaging in people's lives.
